THE SIMPLE RULES

You need 6-sided dice for everything. The dice is used in any kind of situation that need resolving. For example, when a character tries to unlock a safelock or tries to hack a website, you need the dice to determine the result, fail or success. The dice is also used in battle, which will be explained further in Battle Chapter.

Difficulty level
There’s only 6 difficulty level for any case/problem/situation.

1 – Very Easy
Means the difficulty doesn’t pose a problem for anyone with a common sense. Any problem with this difficulty means the problem doesn’t need any special knowledge or training to solve. As long as the character is sane and not having any mental disability of any kind, it should be doable.

2 – Easy
Means the difficulty pose a problem for some people, but most people could do it with a little bit of logic and thinking. Special knowledge or training still not required.

3 – Normal
Means the difficulty pose a problem for average people. Basic knowledge or a little bit of training is needed to solve it.

4 – Hard
Means the difficulty pose a problem for most people. Special knowledge and enough training is required.

5 – Very hard
Means the difficulty pose a problem for almost everyone. It’s not something that ordinary people could do. Special knowledge and training is a must.

6 – Extremely Hard
Means the difficulty pose a problem for everyone. Not only a character has to have special knowledge and training, he/she need a big luck in his/her side.

Rolling the dice
When faced with a problem, let’s say unlocking the door, the storyteller must explain all the players of the difficulty level. Only after knowing the difficulty level, player may roll the dice. The result of the dice, added with all relevant bonus of the character stat must surpass the difficulty level in order for the character to success.

For example:
Kakek was faced with a locked door and he need to unlock it in order to get inside. The storyteller told him that the the door was locked by an average lock and the difficulty level was 3. Then Kakek rolled the dice and he got 3. In this case, without any bonus, Kakek was failed. But Kakek was a freak and had 2 luck bonus, the bonus is added to his roll so he got 5 total. In other word, he succesfully unlocked the door.
