SBY is in the TIME’s 100 most influential persons? So what!?

I’ve had it with SBY campaign team (and his supporters) always talking about SBY was in the TIME’s top 100 list of most influential person of the year. Do you guys even know who’s at number one?

SBY, that president of indonesia is made of paper

SBY is a famous nickname for the current President of Indonesia, Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono, whom administration office is ending the next few months. Never ask me when exactly, because I don’t know and simply don’t care enough to find out. What I do know is that SBY is the first president, after the ’98 power struggle’, who’s going to finish his five years administration job. You might wanna consider that as somekind of achievement, since all presidents before him failed. One ex-president in particular, namely Gus Dur got himself impeached by the DPR (House of Rep of Indonesia)

Was enough that people actually vote for me

In July SBY and some other people who called themselves ‘Politician who cares about the country‘ are gonna fight together in a presidential election. SBY is, of course trying to get reelected. His party, Democrat Party, just won an election and despite the fact that he’s not gonna partner with his current vice president, JK, short for Jusuf Kalla (Indonesian appereantly has a knack for nicknames) doesn’t hurt his chances.
